My involvement within the Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board when I was first elected within my school as a Student Voice Council member. The Student Voice Council is a group organized by the Board which consists of one member from each secondary school.

The following year, I was elected as a Student Trustee, having the rare opportunity to represent the voice of all Catholic students within Mississauga. Through this position, I obtained an incredibly valuable experience relating to Board duties, and have had a first-hand experience with regular Board proceedings.

I have lived in Mississauga all my life and grew up within the publicly funded Catholic school system. Having just recently graduated from the school system, I have a good understanding surrounding the concerns of students. Furthermore, I have three younger brothers that continue to attend our schools – Artur, Marek and Robert. Being the eldest within my family, there have been certain responsibilities that I have had to undertake during the formative years of my sibling’s life that have allowed me to understand the concerns of parents.
